If Kiss NY Pro is a brand you skip over at your local drugstore, you're missing out. A good quality product with an affordable price tag is the real unicorn at this stage in the makeup industry, which is also just obsessed with unicorns. Have you noticed how pricey drugstore makeup has gotten lately? ELF's prices are even going up. What happened to my $1 errthang? The Belle Soft Matte Lip Cream from Kiss New Yor Professionals is a great product!
I don't know why you don't already own this lip cream. The formula is a soft, creamy texture that smooths over your lips. You can get a smooth even coverage without having to dip back into the tube. The flexible,tear-drop shape of the applicator makes application so quick and easy. This lipstick doesn't fully dry down but as it wears, it leaves you with an even stain on your lips that looks so pretty. While I love, of course, that the packaging matches the lipstick shade, they are not exact matches. The shade of lipstick is quite a bit lighter than the color of the tube. There is a metallic shade as well, but you wouldn't know that from the packaging.
Available in 12 shades, Belle Soft Matte Lip Cream may not be a product that is flooding your social media, but it totally should be. With the name 'soft matte lip cream,' you know I have to compare it to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. I reviewed the NYX product back in November and had been wearing it for much longer than that. I gave it 5/5 stars and referred to them as "the learner’s permit of liquid lipsticks ... your first step toward your grown ass women liquid lipstick." While I still stand by that review, I much prefer the Kiss NY Pro Belle Soft Matte Lip Cream. *gasp* Yes! I do! The NYX one is a classic product that almost everyone has tried, but the Kiss NY Pro is just so much better. Belle Lip Scream Lasts longer, wears down better, smoother application, and even the dark shades have better finishes. Where NYX comes out ahead is in their shade selection. They have way more! However, I noted that their shades are hits or misses. From the shades I've tried from the Kiss NY Pro Belle Soft Matte Lip Cream (jesus, what a long name), they've all had a consistent formula. Below I've ranked my favorite shade to my least favorite shade.

Not my cup of tea. Looks good, just not for me. I would suggest using a lip liner with this shade for a cleaner look. The glitters are not gritty
I had done some live swatches on my story on Instagram (@bufferingbetty) and was not convinced with Blue Fleet lol! I love darker blue lipsticks but shimmers are not my thing!
I hope Kiss NY Pro releases more shades in this formula! The finish is a luster matte. To get a more matte look, that's a quick easy fix of just lightly dusting a translucent powder over your lipstick.!
